WHY IS IT IMPORTANT A OCCUPATIONAL PROTECTION?
Occupational health and safety is the set of safety and health requirements for organized work, which legislative, is supported by a system of organizational and institutional regulations. The purpose of occupational health and safety is to protect the health and ability to perform work of those who work in an organized manner, and to humanize working conditions. The personal and material conditions must be created in such a way as to prevent work accidents and work-related illnesses.
The structure of occupational health and safety can be divided into several areas and specializations. I would like to present these and their relative positions with the image below.
For the sake of simplicity, let's look at each of them briefly:
Labor protection: The regulation of the requirements of organized work, the organizational and institutional system of legislation, regulations, and their implementation in workplace practice.
Job security: Prevention from a technical point of view, the system of requirements of which can be used to prevent occupational accidents.
Occupational health: A set of health requirements with which occupational diseases can be avoided. Its two main areas are occupational health and occupational health.
The picture also makes it clear that occupational health and safety is a team effort. Just as in a match every team member has a role to play in order to achieve success, so it is the same with us. The occupational safety specialist works closely with those in the playing field, but at the same time has a serious consequence and responsibility for each of the actors. The occupational safety specialist must work closely with the employee, employer, and occupational health service provider. He is the team captain who leads the team on the way to safe work. Legislation and standards play a very important role, as they provide a framework of rules. At the same time, we cannot win a match if we do not help each other.
