WHY IS THE HOME OFFICE RISK ASSESSMENT IMPORTANT?

Home office legislation

Carrying out a risk assessment of the home office is both an occupational safety and labor law obligation on the part of employers. The labor law rules for teleworking are governed by Act I of 2012 on the Labor Code, while the labor protection rules are regulated by Act XCIII of 1993 on Occupational Safety. contained in the law.

The provisions of these two laws must be applied taking into account the peculiarities of working at home. It is the employer's responsibility to create safe and health-free working conditions even in the case of remote work (home office), so the Occupational Safety and Health Act imposes occupational safety obligations on the employer with regard to working at home. The main point of this is the work, and the risk assessment, which confirms the conditions of safe work, prior to the modification of the employment contract. (Ref.: Mvt. § 86/A. paragraph (3).)

Home office risk assessment and occupational safety

From a home office point of view, the employer must subject the work environment created by the employee to a risk assessment. After the successful audit, but even before starting to work at home, the employee must be given occupational safety training. The preparation of both the risk assessment and the educational thematic material requires the assistance of a person with an occupational safety qualification.

In the development of the software, it appeared as a primary consideration, in addition to full compliance with the legal requirements, that it should be simple, safe and easy to use. Our partners who use the software receive an access password and high authorization in order to be able to manage, control and monitor the work process in progress.

 

Study materials

The specialists of Cedit 2000 Kft prepared the educational materials and the risk assessment forms necessary for the risk assessment of working at home. Important! The preparation of both the risk assessment and the educational thematic material requires the assistance of a person with an occupational safety qualification.

All the employees included in the program have to do is to enter the software and familiarize themselves with the fire safety and occupational safety rules that apply to them, fill out the verification test correctly, and answer yes or no to the questions asked in the survey form. After uploading one or two photos taken from the workstation, the employee completed his task with one click. After that, the trained professionals of Cedit 2000 Kft. analyze, based on the information received, whether the workstation meets the conditions for safe work that does not endanger health, give an opinion on it, and then record the result in a pdf file with the help of the software.

Audit Documents and Reports

Cedit 2000 Kft. will send the professional opinion on the workstations in pdf format to the employer for further use. In this way, the obstacles regulated by the law are removed from the employer's side.
